Job Duties:

FP&A:

  • Assist the business team in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models (as required).
  • Analyze financial performance against budgets/forecasts and provide variance explanations.
  • Monitor working capital cycles and treasury requirements across BUs.

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Support:

  • Review contracts, adjust budget deductions, and verify payments.
  • Partner with BU heads to build commercially sound cases for new project development
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including transferring CIP (Construction in Progress) to Fixed Assets (FA), fixed asset counting, and maintaining accrual schedules.
  • Assist in cash flow budgeting by collaborating with the operations team to identify bi-weekly cash flow requirements.
  • Liaise with banks and financial institutions to manage credit lines, loans, deposits, and settlement services.
  • Ensure timely forwarding of relevant documents to the Group Tax team for further action.
  • Make calls or communicate with the Tax Office when necessary to clarify matters or resolve issues on behalf of the Group Tax team.

Reporting & Data Analytics:

  • Conduct monthly operational cost analysis and electricity price monitoring.
  • Prepare monthly management reports.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Assist in internal and external audits as required.
  • Stay updated on tax-related news, particularly during government budget announcements or legislative changes and share relevant developments with the Group Tax team in a timely and accurate manner.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Commercial Finance/FP&A/Audit.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Accounting/FP&A certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) or progress toward certification is a strong plus.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and processes.
