Job description

Primary Purpose: Direct, coordinate, and work cooperatively with Administration and agency staff in the operational management of the stabilization and rehabilitation residential program. Manage, supervise, and evaluate program subordinate staff. Interprets and meets regulatory program qualifications as defined by the Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) and other regulatory agencies.
Licenses, Certificates, or Registrations: Advanced or Master CASAC preferred or other Q.H.P. required. Credentials must be in good standing and kept current throughout employment. Must have a valid NYS Driver's License and be considered an acceptable driver by ACCA's insurance company to drive agency vehicles. CPR and First Aid certified preferred.
Education Requirements: Degree in Substance Use Disorder Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
Experience Requirements: Must have a minimum of five (5) years of substance abuse experience, and three (3) years progressive supervisory or related experience.
Responsibilities:
  1. Develops and implements agency and program policies and procedures as directed by the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with OASAS regulations.
  2. Coordinates the residential staffing schedule to ensure appropriate 24-hour coverage.
  3. Provides clinical direction ensuring that treatment progress, intake and discharge planning are conducted according to ACCA policies and that all documentation is completed in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Manages, supervises, develops, trains, and evaluates program staff ensuring that all standards and regulations are met.
  5. Facilitates the continuum of services within the ACCA with other Program Managers/Directors and providers to ensure a high-quality continuum of care.
  6. Manages the Case Managers, ensuring that the meet all client treatment needs.
  7. Evaluates program operation to ensure appropriateness of services, develops annual goals and objectives and pertinent report.
  8. Completes the Monthly Service Delivery Reports to OASAS.
  9. Manages program statistics for reporting requirements.
  10. Maintains continued readiness of the residential program site for OASAS or other regulatory bodies for inspection.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
