Patient Records Assistant

Join the Pre-Admission Center on our flagship academic campus. We are seeking a full-time Patient Records Assistant that enjoys working and helping others. Learning and growing are part of the normal workday at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Come thrive with BJC HealthCare!

Schedule:

  • Day shift (7:00 am - 5:30 pm)
  • 40 hours p/week (4-10 hr days: M, T, Th & F)
  • No holidays or weekends

Role Purpose

Provides clinical support and performs clerical duties for the department in order to obtain the appropriate information to verify patient identity.

Responsibilities

Maintains patient charts and files documents as necessary. Requests, retrieves, and sends medical records. Provides support in the patient care process. Performs general office and clerical duties.
