We are seeking a qualified 3rd shift supervisor.

  • Schedule: 11:00pm to 7:30am, Sunday to Friday
  • Hiring Timeframe: Within 2 weeks

Job Description:

  • Monitor work performance of operators and hold them accountable for:
    • Safety
    • Production
    • Scrap
    • Downtime
    • Documentation accuracy
    • Cleanliness of their work area
    • Attendance
    • Ability to troubleshoot
    • ISO requirements
  • Maintaining proper production amounts
  • Being on time and assuring production efficiency
  • Maintaining excellent communication with Management within shift and between shifts
  • Training new hires to ensure they understand their expectations clearly
  • New employee paperwork and updating paperwork
  • Perform daily audits efficiently every 2 hours
  • Review, measure, and inspect parts
  • Perform job setups
  • Timely reporting and document distribution
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are upheld
  • Ability to troubleshoot
  • Maintaining excellent personal attendance records and adhering to all company policies
  • Reporting performance records and evaluations to HR and senior managementย 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience supervising in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of resource allocation, leadership techniques, and production methods
  • Have an understanding of how to work with a team. Must be able to motivate employees and encourage a
    positive working environment while amplifying productivity
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to safety and efficiently operate a forklift
  • Proficient in various measurement tools such as c-mics and calipers
  • Ability to maintain a consistent teamwork mentality

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours
  • Ability to bend and squat
  • Ability to work in an environment without a controlled temperature
