We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented 3PL Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our clients, carriers, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient management of third-party logistics (3PL) operations. Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and carriers, providing timely updates and resolving inquiries related to shipments, deliveries, and account status
- Manage order processing, shipment scheduling, and tracking using platforms to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with internal teams on project management initiatives to improve logistics workflows and customer experience
- Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication, understanding client needs, and offering tailored solutions
- Analyze shipment data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Support sales efforts by providing detailed account information, assisting with onboarding new clients, and fostering long-term partnerships
- Keep detailed records of all interactions, transactions, and issues in compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Inventory reporting and discrepancy follow-up.
- Documentation of customer issues and service exceptions.
- Cross-functional coordination with warehouse, inventory control, and transportation teams.
Skills
- 1–3 years of customer service experience, preferably in 3PL, logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, retail, or distribution environments.
- Experience handling customer inquiries through email and ticketing systems.
- Strong data entry, organizational, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), CRM platforms, or transportation/logistics software is preferred.
- Basic understanding of order processing, inventory management, shipping operations, and EDI transactions is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, coachable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
