Job Description
Altercare Newark North is seeking an LPN Alzheimer's Program Coordinator for their specialized, secure unit. Deliver programming with and through your CNAs to enrich the lives of the residents. Touch the resident's lives clinically, emotionally, spiritually.

LPN Alzheimer Unit Coordinator Job Responsibilities
This key role will work collaboratively to oversee and supervise all aspects of care and programming for dementia residents.
Additional responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing creative activities for dementia residents
  • Developing care plans and performing assessments
  • Conducting resident screenings and family interviews

Job Requirements
  • Education: Licensed Practical Nurse LPN with valid Ohio License
  • Experience in development and facilitation of activity program preferred
  • Prior experience working in a skilled nursing, long-term care or geriatric setting preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and related dementia appreciated
