MRI Technologist - Radiology (Travel)
Location: Dublin, OH
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3×12 Days (Fri 9:30-22:00, Sat/Sun 07:30-20:00)
Training Schedule (First 2 Weeks): Mon-Fri, 07:30-17:30
Pay: $2,464.20/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Position Overview
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Dublin, Ohio. This role supports a high-volume radiology department performing a broad range of MRI studies including neuro, MSK, body, breast, and vascular exams. The technologist will operate advanced MRI equipment, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure safe, high-quality patient imaging.
Travelers may float between nearby clinic and imaging locations as needed. This contract requires strict adherence to Ohio fingerprinting compliance timelines and meeting OSU system submission rules.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of MRI examinations, including brain MRI/MRA, spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), face/neck, parotids, carotids, IACs, chest, orbits, and various MSK studies.
  • Conduct body imaging including liver, kidneys, MRCP, pelvic MRI, breast MRI, and whole-body studies.
  • Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while following image protocols, patient safety standards, and contrast guidelines.
  • Start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media per department policy.
  • Utilize Siemens MRI systems, Epic documentation, and PACS for workflow and imaging management.
  • Perform advanced MRI techniques such as diffusion, perfusion, CINE studies, MIP, and multiplanar reconstruction when required.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nursing, and ancillary staff to ensure timely patient throughput and high-quality imaging.
  • Maintain a safe MRI environment including screening, coil setup, equipment checks, and adherence to MRI safety zones.
  • Support floating coverage across nearby OSU sites based on department needs.
  • Complete required onboarding modules and meet all credentialing deadlines, including urgent fingerprinting compliance.

Qualifications
  • ARRT (MRI) certification required; ARRT (R) also accepted.
  • Minimum 1 year of MRI experience performing comprehensive MRI studies.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • ACLS preferred.
  • Experience with Epic, Cerner, or similar documentation systems preferred.
  • Experience with Siemens MRI equipment highly preferred.
  • Strong skills in MR imaging techniques including Perfusion, Spectroscopy, MPR, and post-processing.
  • Must be able to float between nearby imaging locations as needed.
  • Fingerprinting must be completed immediately upon contract signing (strict OSU compliance rule).
  • RTO must be submitted at time of submission.
  • Locals accepted at the same rate.
  • Must not be a current employee at any OSU-affiliated facility. Former employees eligible after 6 months.
  • Must provide two professional references (one from leadership).
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test required.
