Our firm employs more than 150 team members with a wide range of experience and skills, serving businesses in various industries.
We are looking to add a full-time Junior Systems Administrator to our IT Department in our Columbus, Ohio (Dublin) office. The Junior Systems Administrator will support the firm's day-to-day technology operations by assisting with system administration, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining network and cloud-based environments. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated IT professional to develop their technical skills while contributing to the success of a growing firm.
Job Description:
  • Assist with the administration and support of Microsoft Azure environments
  • Support and maintain Active Directory user accounts, permissions, and organizational units
  • Assist with Group Policy management and troubleshooting
  • Support Microsoft Exchange and email-related administration
  • Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues
  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and system-related issues
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning and access management
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and monitoring
  • Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting processes
  • Collaborate with IT Director on projects and infrastructure improvements
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience through internships, help desk roles, or related IT positions
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, networking, Group Policy, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange
  • Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, strong ethics, and professional conduct
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the IT field
Preferred Certifications
  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional travel (approximately 10% or less) to DGPerry office locations as needed.
Work Location:
  • In-person at our Columbus, Ohio office. While this role is primarily on-site, flexibility will be offered over time based on performance and business needs.
Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Occasional evening, overnight or weekend on-call support as needed.
