DEPT/OFFICE: Asset Management DATE: August 2026

JOB SUMMARY :

The Associate position in Asset Management is responsible for supporting Asset Managers in maximizing real estate value by developing and executing business plans on assigned real estate projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
  • 4 or more years of experience in real estate management or development; and
  • Working knowledge of real estate and financial analysis, including advanced Excel modeling and proficiency in Argus; or
  • Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
  • Asset Management
  • Drive lease negotiation process for prospective tenants and conduct lease analyses and tenant credit reviews
  • Where applicable, and as directed by Asset Manager, lead research projects to inform decisions
  • Travel to existing assets as needed to support job function
  • Attend community hearings as needed to drive initiatives
  • If applicable, work with senior professionals on capital transactions including the financing/refinancing or position of an existing portfolio asset
  • Review:
    • Financial models in Excel and Argus as directed by Asset Managers for existing portfolio assets
    • Reports on property performance and evaluate quarterly appraisals
    • Strategic business plans and work with property team to produce annual budget and future cash flow projections for existing portfolio assets
    • Report tracking tenant leasing activity
  • Maintain working knowledge and understanding of governing documents – partnership agreements, loans, complex joint venture agreements, leases at property, and approved Investment Committee Memoranda and Reforecast
  • Have primary responsibility for monitoring:
    • Compliance with leases, contracts, loan documents and joint venture agreements
    • Asset financial statements
  • Contribute to the production of Investment Committee Memoranda
