Position Overview:

The Junior Recruiter is responsible for full lifecycle recruiting. This position will utilize existing policies and procedures to attract and retain highly-qualified candidates. As part of the Talent Acquisition team, the Junior Recruiter will be a Brand Ambassador and someone who plays a critical role in the recruitment and retention of talent.Onsite/Non-Remote.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a reputation of being a strong Brand Ambassador and a champion of initiatives and efforts made by Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and the Company.
  • Manage a full life-cycle recruiting process to meet staffing needs across the brand. This will include: Sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing (phone, virtual, or in-person) candidates; Drafting/negotiating/extending offers; Onboarding new employees prior to orientation
  • Responsible for recruiting a variety of positions from entry to mid-level roles.
  • Work with the Talent Manager to provide counsel to hiring managers through the assessment and evaluation of talent.
  • Conduct intake meetings, determine appropriate recruiting strategies, set expectations, manage consensus/debrief meetings, and work closely with hiring managers to ensure positions are filled in a timely manner.
  • Source passive and active talent through internet sourcing, social media, professional & collegiate events, & other nontraditional techniques.
  • Proactively grow & utilize professional network(s) (i.e. Linked In & other professional platforms) for sourcing talent.
  • Effectively Utilize Recruiting & HR Tools (i.e. HRIS, ATS, Job Boards, Social Media, Referral Programs & More).
  • Maintain candidate pipelines by attending engagement opportunities with local schools of all levels (high school, community colleges, technical/trade schools and universities) and continuing to bring brand and job opportunity awareness to the region.
  • Coordinate and enhance internship program.
  • Support employee engagement activities, training & development initiatives, and other efforts as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field required.
  • 1-2 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience required.
  • Experience recruiting in the Engineering, Manufacturing, Assembly, and/or Distribution environment, preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for a wide range of positions from entry to mid-level roles, required.
  • Experience supporting recruiting efforts across multiple states/locations, preferred.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems - ADP RM, preferred.

Competencies and Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills -- ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization across multiple locations.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task & balance several priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Good command of the English language in both verbal and written forms.
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible in dealing with rapidly changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, TEAMs etc.) required
