Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

MedPro Systems Data Project Analysts review, and format data requests received from a particular project. Data Project Analysts ensure the data is accurately loaded into the MedPro database as it pertains to the project they are working on. This role will report to the License Data Governance Manager, and will be based in our Mount Arlington, New Jersey location. This is a temporary position for a duration of 4-6 months.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize Atlassian Jira and MS Excel to coordinate with other teams to track issues and fulfill requests; Utilize Atlassian Confluence create and access data file specifications and work instructions used to complete responsibilities 
  • Utilize company’s proprietary software tools to process data sets and remediate exceptions 
  • Process requests received from Customer Success for various state boards to ensure all data is loaded correctly for customer access as it pertains to the project being worked on
  • Participate in weekly License Data Governance Team meetings
  • Clear and concise written communication for internal and external communications
  • Good time management; Ability to work individually and in a team environment
Requirements:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

  • Strong academic success in technology, sciences, business, or management 

JOB QUALIFICATONS

  • Strong data management knowledge and analytical skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple activities with changing priorities simultaneously
  • MS Excel proficiency with entering various data types (e.g. numbers, text, dates) into a standardized spreadsheet

YEARS’ EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years post college experience
  • 2+ years data experience

TECHNOLOGY/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook 
  • Atlassian Jira 
  • Atlassian Confluence  

REQUIRED TRAVEL

  • 10%

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. 
  • The individual is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen and extensive reading. The individual in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The individual must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time.
