Job Title: Avionics Technician
Location: Heath, OH 43056 Job Description:
• Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes. • Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. • Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications. • Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations). Works under supervision. Day to day:
• Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
• Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications Must Haves:
• 1 or more years of experience working with tools (hand-held tools)
• Willingness to work with beryllium or other chemical elements
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Education – HS diploma, GED Plusses:
• 1 year of experience working with a microscope Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).
