Job Title: Micro Assembly Technician
Location: Sugar Land, TX 77487
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $25.00–$26.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule
  • Day Shift: Sunday – Wednesday
  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Multiple shifts available based on production needs.
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform precision assembly of optoelectronic and laser diode components.
  • Assemble, align, and inspect micro-scale parts under a microscope.
  • Handle delicate components ranging from 1 mm to 250 microns.
  • Perform wire bonding, placement, and micro-assembly tasks.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, SOPs, and engineering drawings.
  • Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
  • Complete production documentation accurately.
  • Perform rework and repairs on micro-components as needed.
  • Follow all cleanroom, ESD, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in:
    • Precision Assembly
    • Microelectronics
    • Semiconductor Manufacturing
    • Fiber Optics
    • Medical Device Assembly
    • Electronics Manufacturing
  • Experience working under a microscope.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with extremely small, delicate components.
  • Wire bonding or micro-soldering experience is preferred.
  • Cleanroom experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read basic engineering drawings is preferred.
