Qualifications:To qualify for an IT Project Manager (SYSANALYSIS) your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Provides specific expertise in the areas of IT Project Management, policies, principals, methods and practices to define project resources, milestones and deliverables; develop IT System interoperability test plans and schedules for the modernization of warehouse automation, including transitioning from legacy Equipment Control Systems (ECS) to SAP Material Flow Systems (MFS) and modern hardware integrations.
- Leads and executes interoperability IT testing strategy concurrently spanning multi-disciplined project teams to integrate enterprise software (SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)) with physical warehouse automation hardware, such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS), and cube-based robotic storage (AutoStore).
- Supports analysis of data and comparable activities in support of goals and objectives related to high levels of program and project management as supported by the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and hardware integration lifecycles, ensuring continuous, real-time routing, capacity monitoring, and malfunction reporting for automated systems.
- Assures industry standard project management methodology is implemented for maximum effectiveness, efficiency and success of assigned IT projects, driving seamless interoperability between SAP environments and modern automation tools, sensors, and scanners while safely phasing out legacy control infrastructure.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education:

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
