Job description

Job Summary (List Format) – CMS Interoperability Project Manager
- Location: On-site in Philadelphia, PA (Day 1)
- Job Type: Long-term Contract (C2C)
- Client: IBX/SP Software
- Interview Process: 3 rounds (final round in-person)
- Required Experience: Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) projects
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage interoperability projects to comply with CMS regulations.
- Ensure all projects align with CMS’s enterprise-wide interoperability strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders.
- Gather, document, and analyze project requirements for business and technical alignment.
- Oversee implementation of interoperability solutions (e.g., FHIR APIs, data standards).
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans (timelines, budgets, resources).
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and ensure quality assurance of implemented solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare IT, project management, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in project management, especially in healthcare IT and interoperability.
- Familiarity with CMS regulations, FHIR APIs, and healthcare data standards.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Project management certifications (PMP, CSM, etc.) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing healthcare IT projects.
- Familiarity with MMIS, Data Warehouse, eligibility, or large healthcare system projects.

- On-site presence in Philadelphia is required from Day 1.
