Litigation / Trial Attorney (Insurance Defense) - Central Ohio

A well-established and expanding Ohio defense firm is seeking a Litigation / Trial Attorney who's ready to take ownership of their caseload and play a meaningful role in case strategy and trial work.
This is a strong fit for an attorney who doesn't want to be stuck doing back-end support-you'll have autonomy, client exposure, and a real path to growth.
Compensation / Competitive base salary:
Flexibility for strong candidates and/or portable business
Performance-driven upside
What You'll Do:
Independently manage a caseload from intake through resolution or trial
Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and motion practice
Take and defend fact and expert depositions
Draft, argue, and strategize motions
Evaluate cases and develop litigation strategy
Communicate directly with clients and provide regular reporting
Serve as trial counsel when appropriate
Practice Areas:

What We're Looking For:
5+ years of civil defense litigation experience
Active Ohio Bar license (required)
Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to manage cases independently and make strategic decisions
Comfortable collaborating within a team-oriented environment
