Wieland is hiring a Assembler/Equipment Operator. The Assembler/Equipment Operator will be responsible for ensuring that components are machined and finished as specified by the detailed drawings and procedures of the company, while meeting the defined quality standards. We are seeking a flexible individual who can manage varying job duties from day to day.

This role is located in Delaware, OH and will be fully on-site. 

Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour plus $0.75 shift differential 

Schedule: 2nd shift Monday - Thursday (4:00pm - 2:30am)

Training will be on 1st Shift (2-4 weeks) 

Monday – Thursday

6:00am-4:30pm

Pay Schedule: Biweekly


Assembler/Equipment Operator Responsibilities:

  • Follow production orders, company procedures and directions from supervisor, prepare parts and assemble components into assemblies.
  • Successfully perform assembly operations by means of power tools or specialized equipment to produce pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
  • Prepare parts for assembly by means of grinding, blasting, cutting of metals, etc.
  • Execute assembly in accordance to company`s procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality and safety standards. 
  • Maintain equipment in proper functioning status by applying preventative maintenance as per instructions. 
  • Propose new methods, procedures, or equipment to improve efficiency and/or quality.

Assembler/Equipment Operator Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to use standard hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, etc.
  • Proactive in proposing solutions.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques.
