Job Description:
Mechanical Assembly Operator, 1st Shift - New Brighton, MN

We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Assembly Operator to join our New Brighton, MN team. You will use hand and power tools to assemble all components of pumps per bill of material, test the assembly to documented specifications and properly package the product.
You will:
  • Responsible for assembling components, and testing the assembly to the documented specifications and packing products
  • Support and promote 5S in the workplace
  • Willingly contributes to the development of better methods and increased daily output of production.
  • Offers ideas and suggestions for improving our Safety and Health (AWAIR) programs

Key Qualifications:
  • Experience reading and using blueprints is required
  • Experience using hand and power tools is required
  • Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required on the production floor

Shift/Hours:
  • 1st shift: 4:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Thursday
  • Must be available to work overtime as needed

Compensation:
  • The hourly pay for this role is $20.00/hour. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
