Job description

Position Summary:
The Assembly Machine Operator is responsible for operating the Assembly and Molding machines. In addition, the operator troubleshoots minor operating difficulties including: analyzing machine operations, inspection of products, locating troublesome elements within machines, and making necessary adjustments to eliminate quality variations and malfunctions.

Primary Duties andResponsibilities:

Ability to judge quality in all aspects.
Ability to read and understand job orders.
Ability to complete data entry activities as needed & record production and maintain records.
Provide timely and complete communication with Team Leaders and all other impacted operational and functional teams regarding quality or mechanical issues.
Ability to meet production standards consistently once trained.
Ability to make minor adjustments to machines to maintain quality standards.
Inspect and pack finished parts properly.
Ability to distinguish between different colors and shades of color.
Ability to detect small defects as in scratches, dents, smudges, etc.
Compiles data associated with the performance of production equipment for reporting purposes.
Checks in-process and completed materials for compliance.
