Job description

Outbound Client Acquisition Associate

At J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, we have an enthusiasm for helping our clients, building relationships, and delivering extraordinary customer service while maintaining a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.

As an Outbound Client Acquisition Associate within our Wealth Management Department, you'll at the front line of our growth strategy. The Outbound Client Acquisition Associate is dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals through trusted relationships and world-class service. Our culture of opportunity drives fresh ideas and fosters an environment where everyone can thrive.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage both warm leads and cold prospects via phone, email and digital channels.
  • Deploy targeted campaigns and high-volume outreach (dials, contacts, inquiry-to-lead).
  • Conduct goals-based discovery to uncover financial objectives and pain points.
  • Convert prospects into new clients, driving net new assets, referrals and conversion-rate improvements.
  • Prospect and qualify cold leads—strategically target high-potential segments and persist through resistance.
  • Execute a disciplined outreach cadence, balancing volume goals with personalized messaging.
  • Build rapport and trust through empathetic listening, objection handling and persuasive communication.
  • Present tailored wealth solutions, highlighting J.P. Morgan's full product suite.
  • Maintain meticulous CRM records: equipping advisor partners with valuable information to advance wealth management discussions.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to refine campaign tactics and share feedback on lead quality.
  • Continuously refine prospecting techniques, time-management practices and sales skills.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Valid, active Series 7 and Series 63 licenses—with the ability to maintain registration in all 50 states.
  • 2+ years of outbound sales or business-development experience in financial services or brokerage.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline and conversion targets (net new assets, referrals, conversion rate).
  • Strong consultative-selling mindset: adept at goals-based discovery, objection handling and persuasive influence.
  • Resilience, self-motivation and entrepreneurial drive—able to maintain focus and motivation through rejection.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and time management—prioritizes tasks to maximize results across multiple prospects.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Active Series 66 license, or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
  • Experience collaborating with compliance, marketing or advisory teams to optimize outreach.
