A day in the life of a Land Acquisition Associate:

Life as a Land Acquisition Associate is exciting and different every day as itโ€™s your job to help maintain the companyโ€™s pipeline of potential land deals and working to ensure these land deals fit within the Divisionโ€™s market strategy. Your expertise is critical for the creation of financial models and the development of tracking worksheets. You will be responsible for maintaining land acquisition files and reports for the division, providing solutions that will streamline transactions, and learning the market value for raw land. You will start your day researching property, reviewing and analyzing data, and drafting letters and documents. Through your impeccable networking skills, you will build relationships with local land professionals, land brokers and their agents. The rest of your day will consist of building financial models, identifying underutilized properties and ensuring contract compliance for current land deals all in a hybrid work environment. Some days you will even visit potential acquisition sites.
