Job Description

Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research, analysis, and strategy planning to support client cases.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal team members to develop comprehensive case strategies aligned with client objectives.
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing clear updates on case progress and guiding them through key decision points.
Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediation sessions, advocating for their best interests effectively.
Assist in case management activities, including discovery organization, document review, and file maintenance.

Administrative/Team/Financial Tasks:

Foster a collaborative team environment by actively participating in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
Coordinate with billing personnel to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for client matters.
Monitor case-related expenses and adhere to billing and budgetary guidelines to ensure efficient financial management.

Marketing Tasks:

Contribute to firm marketing efforts by attending networking events, client seminars, and community outreach activities.
Assist in the development of marketing materials and content for social media platforms to enhance the firm's online presence.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Associate Attorney in family law or related practice areas.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
