Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and strategy planning to support client cases.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal team members to develop comprehensive case strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing clear updates on case progress and guiding them through key decision points.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediation sessions, advocating for their best interests effectively.
  • Assist in case management activities, including discovery organization, document review, and file maintenance.

Administrative/Team/Financial Tasks:

  • Foster a collaborative team environment by actively participating in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Coordinate with billing personnel to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for client matters.
  • Monitor case-related expenses and adhere to billing and budgetary guidelines to ensure efficient financial management.

Marketing Tasks:

  • Contribute to firm marketing efforts by attending networking events, client seminars, and community outreach activities.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials and content for social media platforms to enhance the firm's online presence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Associate Attorney in family law or related practice areas.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Experience with legal research databases and case management software.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and professional excellence.
