Job Posting: Land Surveying Survey Party Chiefs, Jr Party Chiefs and CAD TechsJob Description:

Darling Geomatics is expanding. We are currently seeking land survey party chiefs, junior party chiefs, instrument people and AutoCAD drafting technicians to join our team. These are typically 40 hour per week, safety sensitive positions with random drug testing, based in our Tucson office. Some travel may be required. Remote work is not an option. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily work outdoors as a Survey Crew Party Chief, Junior Party Chief or entry level instrument person or indoors as an AutoCAD drafter for land surveying projects. Opportunities to do both field work and drafting for the right person.
• Ability to utilize and maintain in good condition Company's Trimble survey equipment, Company vehicles and other tools of the trade for all survey crews
• Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to ensure project requirements are met
• Maintain field safety and survey/CAD standards and procedures
• Follow instructions
• Assist in project management tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Drivers license and good driving record for all field personnel.
• Drafters must be able to become proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D Software. Revit, Cyclone and other drafting software a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of land surveying principles and practices
• All field jobs are safety sensitive positions/must be able to carry up to 50 pounds, including up and down staircases and mountains.
