Therapist (FT 70/30 Split)

WeBizaan Holdings, LLC dba Bizaan Behavioral Health is a clinician-founded private practice group that is growing and looking for clinicians to join our team!

We have an immediate need to hire fully-licensed clinicians to join the practice. There are so many referrals we cannot take for clients with insurance. 

CLINICIAN MUST BE WILLING TO BE PANELED THROUGH INSURANCE CARRIERS SUCH AS BCBS, UNITED HEALTHCARE, and CIGNA/ASSOCIATED INSURANCES. 

We provide marketing through social media, networking events, and Psychology Today. 

Job Summary:

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will counsel individuals, couples, families, and groups to promote optimum mental health. The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will help individuals, couples, and families deal with thoughts of suicide; addictions and substance abuse; family, parenting, and marital problems; stress management; problems with self-esteem; and issues associated with aging and mental and emotional health. Each clinical brings their own speciality to the practice and we are open to considering clinicians with diverse backgrounds. A requirement of our practice is that clinicians are comfortable working with First Responders and their families. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Counsels clients and patients, individually and in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, and making changes. Maintains confidentiality of records relating to clients treatment.
• Guides clients in the development of skills and strategies to deal with their problems. Encourages clients to express their feelings and to discuss what is happening in their lives and helps them develop insight into themselves and their relationships.
• Collects information about clients through interviews, observations, and tests. Prepares and maintains treatment records and reports.
• Evaluates clients physical or mental condition based on review of client information. Develops and implements treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge. Acts as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
• Maintains a case load of at least 25 clients per week.
• Strong character matters - integrity, honesty, adaptability and quality of care to name a few.
• Be an individual who enjoy being a part of team and working together to professionally develop.
• Market the practice and build a case load through your professional connections / Psychology Today / etc. 
• Provide own liability insurance that will be in addition to the practice-provided insurance.
• Utilize the company-provided electronic health record to document client encounters.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
• Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions, and for career counseling and guidance.
• Knowledge of group behavior and dynamics, societal trends and influences, human migrations, ethnicity, and cultures and their history and origins.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
• CPT, EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT skills, CAMS-care certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic health records.

Education and Experience:

• Master's Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or similar required.
• Fully licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist required.
  
• Experience working with First Responders and their families and/or willingness to do so required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Compensation:

• Commensurate with Experience. Bizaan Behavioral Health has a pay-split structure that can be discussed in the interview with incentives for multiples licenses, degrees, and certifications. Competitive split rate at 70%!
