Position Summary:


As a Training and Engagement Specialist at Primecare Home Care, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and facilitating training programs that empower our employees to excel in their roles. In addition, you will focus on fostering a positive work environment through employee recognition and engagement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain high quality course materials, specifically instructor-led training, as well as e-learning, performance support tools, and interactive multimedia that support diverse learning styles.
  • Identify training needs, both individual and team-based, and create tailored training modules to address specific areas of improvement.
  • Conduct quarterly training for each office location.
  • Conduct interactive training sessions to enhance customer service skills, organization knowledge, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and suggest adjustments to Human Resources to meet evolving customer service requirements.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of training programs and engagement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with subject matter experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and cross- functional teams to determine learning needs, develop learning objectives, recommend learning solutions and support execution for technical and non-technical skills development.
  • Utilize instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and industry best practices to create effective learner-centered experiences, including content development for large-scale corporate learning events.
  • Manage instructional design projects from inception to completion, including timeline development, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Champion a culture of development and challenge team members to grow themselves and others.
  • Ensure recognition initiatives align with company values and promote a culture of appreciation.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive calendar of engaging events and activities, including team-building exercises, social gatherings, wellness programs, and recognition ceremonies.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and budget management.
  • Ensure events are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with the organization's values and objectives.
  • Develop and execute communication plans to promote upcoming events, initiatives, and opportunities for employee involvement.
  • Utilize various channels, including email, intranet, social media, and digital signage, to effectively reach and engage employees.
  • Design recurring customer satisfaction surveys to gauge employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze survey results, extract insights, and prepare comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations.

  • Proven ability to design and develop synchronous and asynchronous training using instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and effective learning techniques.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in instructional design software, multimedia authoring tools, and learning management systems.
  • Strong verbal, teaching, and engaging personality skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in gathering and analyzing data to drive decision-making.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using survey tools, data analysis software.
  • Proficiency in presentation software, such as Canva, Google Slides, or Adobe Spark.
  • Proficiency in video clipping and recording software, such as Veed, Clipchamp, or Shotcut.
  • Strong operational, critical thinking, analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to introduce change, implement new programs, and strategies and ability to maintain program performance.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Human Resources, Communications or relevant field.
  • 3+ years experience instructional design for instructor-led, and fast paced training, eLearning development, or related role.
  • Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or educational technology.
  • Proven experience in employee engagement, event planning, or related roles.

Preferred Qualification


  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential and /or Instructional Design certification.
  • Certified Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) professional.
