Healthcare Billing Clerk

We are looking for a sharp and motivated biller to ensure accuracy for our Home Health and Hospice services! This role requires a candidate that is passionate about working on a care team prioritizing quality care services to patients and providing support to the team. The right candidate will have an attention to detail mindset while being caring and compassionate.

Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• Ensure the successful billing of Home Health and Hospice services rendered each month
• Assist with the upcoming implementation of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for the home health program, confirming services provided according to the patient's authorization.
• Other duties as assigned and may vary at times, as needed by your immediate supervisor or as directed by the company.

Job Qualifications:

• Proficient computer skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Proficient and accurate data entry skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and make sound judgements. 
• Must have a degree in related field/credentialing OR have Home Health and Hospice billing experience.
• Prolonged sitting. Repetitive motion (data entry), and phone contact. Ability to remain patient during long periods of telephonic hold times.
