Production Assistant

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

The Production Assistant reports to the Production Manager. The purpose of this position is to assist the Production Manager in implementing and monitoring the execution of the production plan, in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assists the Production Manager in monitoring production activities
• Assists in planning the production schedule
• Plans production staff shifts, readily manages and integrates changes, assigns production staff to machines according to experience and availability
• Produces, delivers, and verifies the completion of production documentation
• Maintains production databases, reconciles production sheets with production orders in the ERP system
• Participates in team activities to reduce waste, improve productivity and quality
• Assists the Production Manager in the execution of tasks

Technical Skills:

• Good knowledge of the supply chain process
• Basic applied knowledge of WCM standards
• Basic knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment rules and practices
• Good applied knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
• Basic knowledge of English

Education and Experience:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1-year experience working in the production department of a manufacturing company
