Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Salary Range: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour with potential sign-on bonus for experienced candidates

Job Description

Maintenance mechanics play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of industrial equipment. They troubleshoot, repair, and inspect equipment, maintain accurate maintenance records, and perform minor facility maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and provide preventative/corrective maintenance support for production lines
• Coordinate maintenance needs with other technicians
• Set up, start up, and operate machinery
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks promptly
• Fabricate equipment and perform MIG welding as required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and storage areas
• Document all completed maintenance tasks accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements

• Effective communication skills
• Experience operating mill and lathe machinery
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, including 480V, 240V, and 120V control power
• Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatic systems
• Willingness to learn and take initiative for success
• Ability to lift objects weighing 25+ pounds overhead
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and understanding
