Job Title: Sub Assembly Operator
Department: Sub Assembly
Report to: Sub Assembly Supervisor
Position Summary: Perform assembly of valve actuators and regulator cap assemblies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Pulls parts needed to complete the assigned production order from the stock area. The parts are then moved to the DI wash area and washed with de-ionized (DI) water. After the parts have been washed, they are assembled according to sub-assembly instructions contained in the Bills of Material, or according to a print on some simple assembly jobs. The job is then closed in ATS after completion of the assembly order. Based upon information in ATS, a label is prepared and affixed to the bin holding the parts. The labeled bin with the parts is placed in the stock room for kitting.
Must become familiar with the quality systems documents within the department referenced on the Required Training Matrix (RTM-100). Frequent contact with employees in the Plant DI Wash area and Sub Assembly.
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Specific Job Skills:
Must be able to read engineering drawings, BOMs, prints, and related documents required to assemble products.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Will receive on-the-job training for some essential functions and job skills.
Must have great communication skills.
Salary Range:
$17.50 - $25.00 BOE
