Dedicated Personnel is currently seeking employees for General Labor/Warehouse.
A general labor warehouse employee is a professional who performs basic tasks at a warehouse. They are responsible for accepting products, storing items, maintaining inventory, and preparing items for delivery. Warehouse employees often collaborate with supervisors and each other to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure products get shipped to their final destination safely. Some of the key job responsibilities of a general labor warehouse employee include:
- Loading and unloading: Warehouse employees take responsibility for the inventory that comes in and out of the warehouse. One of the main duties they perform is loading and unloading delivery trucks and storing items in their designated location.
- Counting inventory: Warehouse employees periodically count and record inventory numbers. They may go through the rows of products in the warehouse and manually count how many of each product is currently stored there.
- Maintaining equipment: Working at a warehouse requires a large variety of equipment, including forklifts, pallets, and trucks. One of the warehouse employee’s duties is to maintain this equipment.
- Following safety standards: Warehouses often have many potential safety risks, and companies create safety procedures to help minimize injuries and keep employees safe. Following these procedures is a key part of a warehouse employee’s duties1.
