Senior NET Developer

Position Overview 
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our dynamic team. As a .NET Developer specializing in mortgage software, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that cater to the specific needs and challenges of the mortgage industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions that exceed client expectations and drive business growth. 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy mortgage software applications using .NET Core. 
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Develop efficient and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive mortgage data and ensure compliance with industry regulations. 
• Optimize application performance and scalability to accommodate growing user demands. 
• Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by clients or identified during test phases.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software solutions. 
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and other team activities to foster collaboration and innovation. 
  
  Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer, preferably in the mortgage or financial services industry. 
• Strong proficiency in C# with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. 
• Experience with .NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework, and other relevant technologies. 
• Familiarity with front-end development languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS is a plus 
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational database systems for data modeling and query optimization. 
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks concurrently. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mortgage software (Encompass), industry standards and protocols (e.g., MISMO, Fannie Mae). 
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS. 
• Familiarity with DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment.
