Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Vintage Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As a Vintage Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for the restoration, repair, and maintenance of classic automobiles from various eras. From iconic muscle cars to elegant vintage luxury vehicles, you will work on a diverse range of automotive treasures, ensuring they are brought back to their former glory.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough diagnostics to identify mechanical issues in vintage automobiles.
• Conduct repairs and replacements of parts, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
• Restore vintage automotive systems, including electrical, fuel, and cooling systems.
• Conduct test drives and inspections to verify the quality of repairs and ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each restoration project.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, with a focus on vintage or classic automobiles. (1960s to 1980s cars)
• Extensive knowledge of vintage automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to the unique challenges and requirements of vintage automobile restoration.
