Job Description
Skillforce Inc. is hiring for mechanic level electricians for commercial projects throughout Houston, TX. Pay is $23 - $26/hour based on skillset and experience. If you are a mechanic electrician with at least 5 years experience APPLY NOW!
Mechanic Electrician Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service, install, and repair electrical wiring and systems.
- Inspect, test, and perform preventative maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communications, and power circuits
- Identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazards
- Knowledge of electrical construction practices including threading, bending conduit, and pulling/removing wire
- Run and bend conduit
- Experience installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting/power systems
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Mechanic Electrician Apprentice Qualifications:
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
- Must be able to frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds
- Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
- 5 years minimum commercial experience
Salary: $25 - $28 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday through Friday
- Day shift
