Job Description

Our client in Pasadena is seeking a Temporary-to-Hire Tax Accountant. The ideal candidate has a background in public accounting and expertise in corporate tax matters. Hybrid role. Only local applicants will be considered. Pay $40 to $45/hour.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal and state income tax filings for relevant entities, including non-US subsidiaries
Conduct an in-depth review of legal entity non-US tax provisions, as well as current and deferred tax balances maintained in tax provision software
Reconcile income tax accounts and deferred tax balances.
Handle the preparation of calculation for International tax forms
Stay informed about changes in local jurisdiction (non-US) tax laws and assess their implications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate tax reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or similar field of study
1+ year corporate tax experience
Knowledge of domestic and international tax law provisions
Familiarity with foreign tax credits, transfer pricing, and Subpart F
Proficiency in MS Excel, tax software, and technology
