Trusts & Estates Paralegal

UB Greensfelder has an opening for an experienced trusts and estates paralegal in the St. Louis office.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting with trust process, including funding, administration, and notices.
• Assisting with the preparation of basic estate planning documents and related trust funding.
• Assisting with the preparation of estate tax returns, gift tax returns, individual and fiduciary income tax returns (1041, 1065 and 706).
• Communicating with clients and advisors.

Qualified Applicants Will Have:

• 3+ years of trust and tax experience.
• General understanding of estate planning principles and trust funding procedures.
• Knowledge of beneficiary designation forms and ability to coordinate with clients' financial advisors.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and good judgement.
• Ability to manage high-volume priorities while working with others to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, especially when working with clients.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe.
