Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and efficient CDL-licensed truck driver who would like to come work for a local landscape company transporting machinery, delivering landscape materials, and occasionally helping out on a landscape job using an excavator or skid. This is a seasonal position (April-November), with the possibility of some winter hauling. We work primarily in the Minneapolis-St Paul Metro area. Must have the ability to connect and maneuver air tag trailer with pintle hitch. Be organized, detailed oriented, and comfortable working independently. A clean driving record and commercial driving experience is a must.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and efficient CDL-licensed truck driver who would like to come work for a local landscape company transporting machinery, delivering landscape materials, and occasionally helping out on a landscape job using an excavator or skid. A clean driving record and commercial driving experience is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle
- Drive combination vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
- Pick-up and safely transport landscape machinery and materials to the intended destination
- Ensure contents are properly secured in a truck or flatbed to prevent damage/injury
- Skid Loader/excavator knowledge is a plus
- Communicate with dispatch as needed
- Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip
- Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean
- Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
- Track and report working hours
- Adhere to company rules and regulations
- Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions.
- This is NOT an over-the-road position. Normal hours M-F from 7am-6pm.
- Comply with ICC and DOT regulations
- Make safety a priority at all times
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A required
- 2+ years of proven experience in commercial truck driving preferred
- Clean driving record with no moving violations
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles
- Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
- Physically and mentally fit
- Proficient using GPS and other routing systems
- An innate sense of direction
- Self-starter who works well independently
- Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
- High level of composure and good stress management
