Sr. Director, Ambulatory Patient Care Services

Reporting to the EVP, the Sr. Director, Ambulatory Patient Care holds the responsibility of ensuring adherence to best practices across all Ambulatory Practices. This includes creating goals and objectives that are consistent with the Hospital mission.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Include the Following:
· Accountable for the overall clinical operations of the Physician Practices
· Ensures the Ambulatory Physician Practice are delivering evidence-based, safe, and effective treatments, as well as monitoring and improving clinical outcomes in collaboration with the Associate Medical Director.
· Collaborates with the Sr. Director, Quality & Safety to ensure all adherence to hospital policies and regulatory agencies.
· Ensures that staff embraces and adapts to changes that foster a culture of quality and safety.
· Responsible for evaluating, developing, and ensuring implementation of system changes aimed at improving the quality of care and reducing variability.
· Responsible for the planning, organizing, directing, and supervising of all clinical staff.
· Accountable to ensure the competence of all clinical staff and ensure they are working within their scope of practice.
· Responsible for the direct oversite of the Director, Clinical Operations.
· Serves as a role model to all members of the team and staff.
· Foster positive relationships with staff and Physicians
· Responsible for participation in committees, task forces and projects as appropriate
· Responsible for ensuring ongoing patient satisfaction outcomes.
· Responsible for the direct oversite of the Director, Clinical Operations.
Education and Experience Requirements
· Active NYS Nurse License, BSN Required
· MSN, or matriculation in a Masters program required
· 3 years in Ambulatory Clinical Operations preferred
· Knowledge of e-learning, online policy systems and experience with learning management systems
· Salary: $150,000-$215,000. This salary range is not a guarantee. The actual salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and education and could fall outside of this range.
