LVN-Correctional Facility - PM Position

Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring qualified, patientcare focusedLicensed Vocational Nursesto work at a correctional facility in Houston, TX.LVN license/certification with the state of TX required. Must have a minimum of 1 year of correctional facility LVN work experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Works in an infirmary, clinic setting, or on the floor of the correctional facility.

• Administers prescribed medication.

• Assists with medical procedures.

• Works directly with the inmates (male and female)

• Conducts temperature checks and vitals.

• Checks patients into the clinic, and documents necessary information.

• Performs other duties on the floor.

Job Requirements:

• LVN License/Certification with the state of Texas is Required

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of correctional facility LVN work experience

• Med Surge experience - Required
• Emergency Center experience - Preferred

• CPR – American Heart Association BLS required.

• Flu vaccination is required (exemption processes available).

• Must have prior correctional facility experience.

Job Details:

• Schedule-Monday-Friday-shifts available- 6 pm - 6 am with rotating weekends.Must have open workday availability.

• Located In Downtown Houston.

• Salary- $40/hr + benefits
