Youth Coordinator

About the Position: Under General supervision, this position will help train, design, coordinate, and develop curriculum around youth and young adult involvement activities for Oklahoma System of Care (OKSOC). They will work closely with other Systems of Care staff to identify, coordinate resources, enhance, and empower youth involvement statewide. They will advise local SOC Sites on the formation and growth of organized groups among youth receiving services through System of Care, their siblings, and peer advocates. In addition, this position will work and partner with family organizations, boards, councils, and coalitions involving all child-serving agencies to recruit and retain youth representation.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in social work, psychology, human relations or other related field OR Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human relations, or other related fields, one year of experience. May substitute up to two years of college with two years' experience working with children and youth.
Preference may be given to those with experience working with children and youth.

Special Requirements:
  • Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver's license
