Position Overview: We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Automotive Detailer to join our team, specializing in the cleaning and detailing of commercial trucks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive interior and exterior cleaning, ensuring each vehicle meets our standards of presentation and quality. This role demands attention to detail, proficiency in various cleaning techniques, and adherence to safety protocols.

Salary Range:$17-$19 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of commercial trucks, including washing the exterior and detailed cleaning of the entire interior.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques to effectively remove dirt, grime, stains, and other blemishes from all surfaces of the truck.
• Clean and vacuum truck interiors, focusing on upholstery, dashboards, and compartments to ensure a meticulous finish.
• Ensure all truck windows are cleaned on both the inside and outside.
• Inspect tires and wheels for any damage and clean them thoroughly.
• Apply all required decals on trucks accurately, following work orders and guidebooks.
• Conduct touch-ups for minor paint blemishes, chips, and scratches as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; manage the proper storage and handling of cleaning supplies.
• Report any noticed vehicle damage or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly.
• Adhere to all established safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Utilize Microsoft Windows to upload documents upon job completion, confirming details and quality of work.
• May be required to assist with other tasks as needed within the team.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an automotive detailer, particularly with commercial vehicles, is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and operate under minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including their safe handling and application.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations and the ability to use Microsoft Windows for documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean work area.
• Physical stamina and dexterity, capable of handling manual tasks and standing for extended periods.
