Electrical Maintenance

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a LME Maintenance Electrician for a long-term role with a food manufacturing company located in Hillsboro, OR. The person in this position installs, maintains, and repairs machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, production machines/equipment, and electrical systems in the food processing plant and other company owned facilities.

Pay: $30-$40/hr

Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities:

• Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as programmable controllers.

• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers, ballast and light fixtures, and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.

• Responsible to complete assigned Special Projects, Tasks and Work Assignments.

• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of GMPs and Allergen programs, HACCP, Food Safety, Food Fraud, Food Defense, Quality Assurance, Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, Lock-Out/Tag-Out, Forklift & Aerial Lift programs, Sanitation programs and all other relevant safety procedures. Participates in plant sanitation projects, mandatory training and overtime work.

• Other relevant duties as assigned.

Maintenance Electrician Qualifications:

• LME, General Journeyman, or Plant Journeyman electrical license in Oregon.

• 3+ years of maintenance electrician experience.

• Thorough knowledge and ability to use a variety of hand tools and machine tools. Knowledge of fire prevention practices and use of fire extinguishers. Advanced knowledge of refrigeration, heating systems, and electrical components.

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, as well as, frequently required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
