Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Must be flexible working in all areas-picking, mixing, packing, stocking
• Working in Clean room
• Any IV compounding experience preferred but will train-very open on experience
• Working with medication supplies, inventory, and patient follow up.
• Assists the pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies
• Prepares medications under the supervision of a pharmacist so they are accurately compounded.
• Ensures that a licensed pharmacist properly checks all compounding and packing.
• Accurately calibrates equipment
• Recording and maintaining pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs
• Finding products and supply to mix
• Lableing products
• Understands and can perform basic pharmaceutical calculations in order to obtain correct doses of medications.
• Ensures that a licensed pharmacist properly checks all compounding and packing. Adheres to appropriate safety and quality assurance practices.
• Complies with state and federal laws.
• Speaks knowledgeably of the scope of services that are available through our client.
• Understands basic drug terminology and therapies/services provided.

Requirement:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician
• Must have at least 1 year of experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs to assist with stocking meds.
