Art Director/Marketing Project Manager

Ben Soleimani is seeking an Art Director/Marketing Project Manager to join our in-house production team. You will work at our Vernon HQ with occasional meetings, photoshoots, and events, at our West Hollywood showroom. This is a 100% in-person position.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing and supporting a team of graphic designers, photographers, and retouchers to bring concepts, presentations, and prototypes to life.
• Collaborate on the ideation and development of innovative marketing campaigns for digital and print marketing.
• Participate in the execution of the entire creative process within an allotted time frame and budget.
• Work with the executive team to ensure that schedules are accurate and realistic, and deadlines met.
• Lead presentations and effectively communicate a creative vision.
• Communicate with managers, designers, writers, other marketing team members to maintain a consistent and elevated brand voice for the business objective and audience
• Show strong conceptual, graphic design, type, and page layout skills for projects ranging from print to interactive to broadcast.
• Organize pre-production meetings for print and various media projects including advertisements, photoshoots for marketing and catalogues, video, social media, and more
• Lead post-production process working with graphic design team and retouchers
• Manage project deliverables and timelines for a high volume of work
• Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects working simultaneously with various deadlines from start to finish.
• Develop editorial and photo concepts bringing new creative ideas to the table
• Combine a deep understanding of design systems, grids, color, typography, and photography to deliver clear and powerful messages

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection, and package design; proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wireframing tools; demonstrate graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Ability to present creative work internally
• Ability to collaborate with copywriters and graphic designers.
• Ability to critically communicate and persuade around design concepts.
• Portfolio demonstrating design and advertising communications proficiency
• Photo art direction experience required
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – XD, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
