Job Description
We are seeking a Billing Clerk to join our team at a construction equipment provider. As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for creating invoices, managing GL accounts, coding, data entry, and overseeing financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- GL Account Management:
- Handling General Ledger (GL) accounts related to billing.
- Ensuring accurate coding and classification of financial transactions.
- Invoicing and Billing:
- Creating invoices and credit memos.
- Sending invoices to customers through various channels (mail, email, etc.).
- Data Entry and QuickBooks:
- Accurately entering financial data into accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Updating customer information, balances, and payment records.
- Payment Handling:
- Receiving payments using various methods (cash, online payments, etc.).
- Verifying payment credibility.
Requirements and Skills
- Previous experience as a billing clerk or in general accounting.
- Familiarity with General Ledger accounts and coding practices.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks

- Organizational Skills
Compensation
- Pay Rate: $26-$28 per hour.
Work Hours
- Onsite hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (start time is flexible).
