WE ARE HIRING EXPERIENCED HEAVY-DUTY TRUCK AND TRAILER MECHANICS

Job description

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers, including brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems, PM services, D.O.T inspections.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with trucks and trailers.
- Conduct inspections to identify any potential problems or safety hazards.
- Replace or repair damaged parts and components.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on trucks and trailers.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

- Ability to be ON TIME 5 days /week and ability to work a minimal of 5 days /week.
- Previous experience as a truck and trailer mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of truck and trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Proficiency in using power tools and other equipment for repairs.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, along with being organized.

-Ability to perform road service in different environments and weather.
- Valid driver's license with no major legal issues in past 5 years.

-Ability to understand instructions and follow directions of supervisor(s) along with good organizational skills, ability to communicate clearing with co-workers and customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
