Job summary: 

This temporary position will primarily support our team of Printer Operators as we manufacture our cutting-edge technology.  The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, ability to work with a team, eagerness to learn and a high level of trainability.  Successful Warehouse/Production Associates may have the opportunity to transition to full-time status as Ametrine continues to scale.  

Hours: 6:00a-4p Monday - Thursday

**First week of training will occur from 8:00a-5p.

Responsibilities and duties 

Printer Operator Support [80%]: 

• Train as an apprentice under the guidance of an experienced professional.  
• Support the operation of our large-format inkjet printers to produce orders on fabric. 
• Keep the line fed by loading and unloading raw materials.  
• Perform light mechanical support matters (cleaning filters, greasing points, wiping and cleaning etc.). 
• Perform administrative tasks related to production (reporting, work orders, and data entry). 
• Accomplish company tasks and efforts with employees that are spread across the globe. 
• This position will report to the Production Supervisor, work closely with and receive guidance from Printer Operators, and will regularly support other team mates.  

Warehouse [20%]: 

• Perform shipping and receiving functions.   
• Pull, pack and prepare items for shipment. 
• Load, wrap, package, and palletize materials.  
• Perform inventory counts and basic ERP transactions.  

Background and Experience 

• Experience in the Textile printing, dying, manufacturing, or military a plus. 
• Computer literacy 
• Manufacturing and machine operation experience 
• Must be able to lift 50lbs 
• Personal Transportation 

Other Requirements 

• US Citizenship is a requirement (Per federal defense contract requirements)
• US security clearance or ability to obtain upon employment required. 
• Overtime as required.  
• Must be able to lift 50lbs

• Printing Experience - Identify materials used in printing process. Able to identify all Fabrics and Inks. Understand segregation of scrap. 
• Warehouse Skills - Operate pallet jack. Demonstrate good housekeeping skills. Accurately receive and return goods to proper place in warehouse. 
• Mechanical Skills - Some knowledge of tools such as saws, hammers, etc. and the ability to safely use them. Ability to provide light technical support to mechanical devices. 
• Must be independent with motivation and agile approach. 

The following activities are also required: reach (extending hands and arms in any direction), standing for long periods of time, walking (moving about to accomplish tasks), lifting (raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position), grasping (applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm), and repetitive motion (substantial moving of arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers) is required.
