Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Sheet Metal Assembly Technician for a metal manufacturing company based in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for assisting in the assembly of mechanical assemblies (assembly, moving material/parts, running parts to and from inspection, cleaning parts, etc.).

Pay Rate
$14.00 to $20.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM.

Sheet Metal Assembly Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• Assemble items from engineering drawings or as instructed
• Take parts to and from inspection and move parts/assemblies within the department to others for next process
• Cleaning and packaging parts
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
• Ensure work is done safely and according to instructions and quality standards.
• Required to perform other duties and in other departments as requested, directed, or assigned

Sheet Metal Assembly Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• Ability to lift 75 pounds throughout the shift, lifting test will be administered
• Drug screen and background check required
• Hand tool experience (air tools and manual) and ability to read and follow written instructions required
• Excellent attention to detail and focus on given tasks and instructions
