Electrician Foreman

Summary

National Power, LLC, is actively seeking two experienced Electrician Foremen to join our Electrical Division! As an Electrician Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in leading electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs of commercial electrical systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 

• Conduct ongoing training for team members on new procedures, safety regulations, company policies, and current electrical codes.
• Enforce proper PPE use in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Direct and perform installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial electrical systems for Tenant Improvement (TIs) and Ground-Up Projects.
• Manage end-to-end electrical projects, including:
  • Installing and bending conduit and their supports; setting j-boxes, pulling cable/wire, terminating, and labeling all.
  • Mounting panels; installing breakers, transformers, disconnects, and all types of electrical equipment.
  • Installing lighting fixtures, receptacles, switches, devices, and the proper installation of lighting controls.
  • Testing circuits for proper functionality and safety.
• Complete all job-related documentation in detail, including project reports, installation records, and other relevant paperwork.
• Work collaboratively with team members, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth coordination and execution of electrical installations.

Education & Experience
 

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of four-year electrical apprenticeship is preferred.
• 5+ years of Electrical Foreman experience installing commercial electrical systems, with project management from start to finish.
• Expertise in reading architectural plans, and electrical plans, diagrams, specs.
• Possess 8 years minimum of experience in commercial electrical installation, covering (TI’s) and Ground-Up Construction from project initiation to completion.
• OSHA 10-30 certification is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations, NFPA70, and standard electrical safety practices required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive pay depending on previous experience and current certifications. Overtime is also a factor and is paid at 1.5 X base. We are a performance-based company and pay will ultimately reflect the employee’s productivity and overall performance.
