Independent Tax and Financial Planners, P.C. is a Tax and Financial planning firm located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  The services we provide to our clients include financial and investment planning, retirement, education, and estate planning. Our staff includes CPA’s, Certified Financial Planners and Registered Representatives. We also provide Tax preparation and planning for Individuals and small businesses.

Position Description

·       Full Time Non-Commission, salaried position

     Duties include:

·       Work on the preparation of investment snapshot reports and tracking trends of client investments using appropriate software

·       Provide support to the Financial Planners and Registered Representatives with investment management research and analysis

·       Communicate with clients on existing financial strategies and implement portfolio rebalances when necessary

·       Act as a liaison with financial institutions to gather information

·       Carrying out various special projects as needed

·       Preparing individual income tax returns, including the preparation of supporting work papers 

·       Responding to inquiries from government tax agencies

·       Utilizing tax software to process returns

·       Research and consult on various tax projects

·       Prepare income tax projections

·       Work would be supervised by experienced CPA’s

Education:

·       Associates or Bachelors degree

Experience:

·       0-3 Years Finance, Investment, or Tax Preparation/Planning experience

Requirements:

·       Fingerprinting to comply with FINRA Security Regulations

·       Willing to obtain or has obtained Series 6 or higher and Series 63

Compensation:

·       Salary with Benefits - $50,000-$65,000 per year

·       Alternating early Friday’s and Friday’s off in Summer
