Praxis Resources, an FAA Part 145 Repair Station and Custom Additive Manufacturing Company is
looking to fill the position of Avionics Repair Technician. Located in Gilbert, Arizona for 26 years, the
company is looking to hire an onsite, full-time technician in a position that offers a quality benefits plan

year, along with 120 hours of PTO per year for our employees.
Job Description:
The Avionics/Electronic Technician tests, troubleshoots and repairs Avionics electronics components.
Repairs are performed down to board level component and includes removal and replacement of faulty
components. The technician performs all aspects of the repair process from start to final testing.
Essential functions and responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
Responsible for inspection, repair and testing of avionics and electronics equipment at the
bench level. All work performed is to OEM documentation, FAA and/or customer requirements.
Must be able to accomplish work using a variety of test equipment, tools and test panels as
required to complete the task at hand.
Expected to perform work in a timely manner consistent with the type of job being performed.
This includes accurately completing paperwork associated with the job, accurately ordering parts,
and consistent, high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications required:
Educational Experience: Avionics/Electronics trade school or documented experience.
4 years of electronics repair experience
Must be proficient in soldering thru hole and SMT components. IPC or other solder certification
a plus.
Must be able to read and understand schematics, component maintenance manuals, illustrated
parts listings and other technical data as required.
Language Skills: Must be able speak, read, and understand English. Ability to read and interpret
documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete
variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
